ExpoWest 2014/2015 BEST Finds – Workout Socks, Knee Braces & Dryer Balls

Long post with lots of good info so you may want to bookmark for later!

I have gone to the Natural Products Expo West show the past 3 years but the past 2 left me with products I continue to use & don’t foresee NOT using them! I have a lot of products that I have been using for years that were there AND I have written about many times but let me talk about 2 right now from 2014 and 2015.

1. From 2014: These ReusaWool Dryer Balls entered my dryer right after Expo West 2014. They have other products as well but this is the one I have been using since March 2014. You can see above that they come in colors too but I was given the white ones in a 3 pack. I only use 2 at a time in the dryer but those with larger dryers & larger loads might want to start with 2 & try 3 but 2 seems fine to me.

They are handmade in the USA.

You can also find them on Amazon in white & colors. I am sure there are other brands out there but this is what I am using. Read the reviews – most are good but a few people did not like them for certain reasons.

My experience has been nothing short of fantastic. They dry the clothes & they feel soft afterwards. I did not have the static cling issues that some reviewers had & they last forever!!! OK, I over used mine but I am still using the same ones over a year later! I don’t have kids – just me & hubby – but I do enough laundry with all my workout clothes & towels!

I HAVE NOT USED DRYER SHEETS SINCE PUTTING THESE BALLS IN MY DRYER! OK, I am a child! I laugh when I write that! 🙂

Feel free to research yourself but I have never turned back since using these!

2. Incrediwear Socks & Knee Braces: I found this company at Expo West 2015. I read through all the packaging & media handouts about the technology & what it did for you. Of course I was skeptical! I decided to buy a pair of socks & test them right there at the show. I was walking around for hours on end & this show is HUGE!!!! It is hard to explain but they almost feel cushiony. They definitely feel different than any sock I have ever worn! I wear than for workouts, everyday wear, working – everything!!!!

I could not believe the difference in feel from wearing the Incrediwear socks vs. the socks I wore to the show!!! I went home & told my husband who was going with me the next day. I told him we were going to buy him a pair of the men’s socks so he could test them the same way. He was hooked too! Neither of us have worn anything else from that day forward! Well, I am testing the Inspyr socks right now but other than that, NOT! BEST SOCKS I HAVE EVER WORN AND I FEEL NO SEAM AT ALL!!!!! BTW, my gym friend & guy that does my videos – he is now hooked & can’t believe the difference in feel PLUS the no odor claim! 🙂

I am wearing these (below) and the claim is: “The PRO Nō-Shō Incredisocks use a unique Carbonized Charcoal Anion Technology (CCAT for short) that increases circulation to your feet, which can lead to increased performance, decreased foot fatigue and shorter recovery. PRO Nō-Shō is specifically designed to ensure that your feet are treated to an advanced sock that’s odor resistant, moisture wicking and extremely comfortable. We use a patented Italian 3-D weaving machine while constructing our 200 thread count PRO Nō-Shō sock and the results are the most comfortable, non-stinky, high performance sock in the world.”

Hubby is wearing these (below): “Incrediwear patented hiking socks can bring comfort to tired legs and feet within minutes of putting them on, energizing individuals who spend long hours on their feet. Incredisocks can significantly enhance comfort and mobility, outcomes that occur due to increased blood flow, regulation of temperature, and delivery of a greater supply of oxygen to the targeted area. They are also antimicrobial, odor absorbing and moisture wicking for supreme long wearing dry comfort which makes for the perfect travel and outdoor companion since even with repetitive wearing, they won’t need laundering. Incredisocks are the ideal choice for hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, sports enthusiasts, or those just seeking the best comfort available in sock wear!”

I AM TELLING YOU THAT FOR ME & HUBBY, THE CLAIMS ARE TRUE! To test the odor resistant, I actually would take them off & smell them after my intense workouts. No odor! After a few days there is a little BUT if you leave them out on the floor or somewhere to air out, NO ODOR! I actually did not wash them for 2+ weeks & the knee braces below to test them. Claims are true! Now I do wash them more often now but I wanted to test the claims! You can machine wash & put in the dryer too!

I also tried the thinner sock. I liked this too & only thin sock that my bad feet can take BUT I prefer the thicker one above for me since I have bad feet.

With my knee issues, I decided to try the knee braces. They have a lot more products so check out the site. Now my knees are not that great these days. I have good, bad & better days. I am also on a joint supplement (post to come a bit later after some more testing). I wear the braces for running & weights. They are a cloth material so really nice for running. They did not come small enough for me as you can see in the picture below with the orange & black shirts so I decided to roll them down from the thighs & up from the shins & this works perfectly for me. You can see in the pic with my green YMX shirt on.

I still feel my knees BUT they are way better than before the braces. You have to understand that some of us have worse issues than others so they may or may not work. I can tell you that when I take them off, I definitely feel the difference after a workout without them on! Also when I do my Instagram videos without them, I feel it! 🙂

Again, we are all different! I am not going to say that you are going to love these as much as I do but I can tell you that with the socks, I am not going back! I have worn a lot of different sock brands & these are by far the best sock I have ever worn! I am trying to see if I can work with the company – typical me, :). DO  CHECK OUT ALL THEIR OTHER PRODUCTS ON THEIR WEBSITE.

So there ya have it – my finds from Expo West that I am still using & will not stop using! These are products I was not using before the shows.

    1. GiGi – I hate driving in southern CA! People say how great it is here & we do have great weather but we can’t get anywhere due to traffic!

  6. A little late to the party but thanks for the knee brace info! I tried Tommie Copper’s and didn’t feel any compression whatsoever. Pretty thin. But maybe I’ll give these a try… my knees are really not that bad but they get a little achy from time to time. Some support during lifting, cycling, and hiking is the key!
