Breast Cancer Awareness/Healing Thoughts Appreciated; Workout Clothes & Charity

Back on the 3rd, I wrote a post about my hubby's brother's wife who is fighting stage 4 breast cancer. You can read that post HERE. I also provided this info:
This year Kimberly’s very close friend, Lisa (French) Stiles, is dedicating her walk to Kimberly at the November Susan G. Komen 3-Day, walk for a cure to breast cancer. This 60 mile walk helps to fund researchers in their efforts to find cures for breast cancer. We are hoping you will join us in sponsoring Lisa with her efforts to make the 3-Day walk a success. Below is information on how to help Lisa reach her goal of $2,300. No contribution is too small.

Kimberly is having a double mastectomy today. They will do additional tests while she is in there on lymph nodes & a couple other things to be sure that all is taken care of during this surgery. They have been controlling the cancer that has spread to the bones so we hold very positive thoughts for her recovery!

Jody, I'll be keeping Kimberly in my thoughts today. Please, when you can, give her hugs from me. I haven't had to go through as much but I know first hand how much it matters to know that people care.

Prayers for Kimberly today and as she recovers. It's a difficult time for the entire family. I've had three friends go through breast cancer in the past 6 years. It's an emotional roller coaster for all. Blessings to you all.
