Happy Birthday to my Hubby!

Today is my hubby's 59th bday. Honestly, if you met him in person, you would never guess that he is 1 year short of the big 60. He is active & plays roller hockey with men 20 & 30 years his junior. He can do more than guys half his age. He puts up with me!
And lucky for me, he has genes that keep the behind high & pinchable! Man, those men, theirs don't drop like ours do!!!!
We met 30 years ago this past August & have been married for 28 years this past October. It just keeps getting better. We have learned to accept each other for our quirks along with all the wonderful things as well.
My advice to young people out there. Don't give up so easy. There are ups & downs to life. Compromise & try to understand one another!
Today will just be relaxing at home but we will spend Christmas eve with his youngest daughter & her hubby since they are still in CA. We will celebrate both the bday & the holiday. Of course, you saw the pics from my Monday post when we already celebrated his bday, his Dad's bday & the holiday! FUN!
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday if you don't make it back here before then!!!

Happy Birthday to my awesome dad! He has always been a "thin eater" example to me (i.e. he only eats when hungry and stops when full) and that is a very rare thing! He is also a very cool grandpa to all the kids and we appreciate that. Hope you guys have a fun weekend and enjoy the time at jen and kevs. We sure wish we were still there to help celebrate and eat yummy cake. Maybe another year in the future...
