Gratitude Monday & Family

Our hosts, Steve's brother & his wife. This was on their fridge. A little bright but I was taking pics with my cellphone!
Welcome to Gratitude Monday. Each Monday, stop by & comment on what you are grateful for & how it will impact you to live a healthier life going forward. How it impacts you does not have to be food or exercise related. It can be in any way, shape or form! If you just want to write a grateful comment & nothing else, that is fine too. If your comment is the same as another one, so be it. Everything goes here!
Today I am grateful for the wonderful get together with family this past weekend. We had my father-in-law's bday (Dec. 14th) to celebrate along with my hubby's that is coming up right before Christmas... plus we celebrated the holidays too. This was the best time for all of us in this group to meet. We met at my hubby's brother & wife's house and it was fun & enjoyable & relaxing!
A few pics for you to enjoy.
The tree & with lights on.

California Santa surfing!

Thought this dog & cat decoration was cute. It lights up & the train goes around in a circle.

My new coffee cup!

The bday cheesecake! Good thing I am not a fan of cheesecake!

The bday boys, my hubby & his Dad, making a wish!

Youngest bro, Dad, hubby, bro that is my age. Still missing one bro that passed away in his mid 50's & a sister that lives back east.

Beautiful day view & you can see Los Angeles out there.

Another view.

Night view of the lights.

Had to try to take a pic of this neighbor's lights. Looked like Cinderella's carriage for us seeing it "live".

How was your weekend & what are you grateful for today?

There aren't too many days when the LA basin can be seen that clearly. On this day, I am grateful that I am about to go pick a naval orange off one of my trees -- that I take it into work with me for a snack. How cool is THAT...?

Roy, yes, we are lucky to get days like this & glad I was where there was a beautiful view! You are one lucky guy with that orange tree!

Today I am grateful for being able to run even after a sleepless night. I am grateful for good music. I am selfishly grateful for neighbors who left their Christmas lights on all night - they cheered my spirits...
BTW, great views!
And now for yet another cup of coffee.

Those are some seriously large slices of cheesecake. I like cheesecake, but that might be too much, even for me!
Love the photos of LA. Wish the air had been that clear when I visited.
