Remembering Those Lost; Happy Bday

It is hard to believe that 10 years ago we lost so many. It changed many of us forever. Life & how we feel about life changed.
The one thing I feel we must not forget is to not let it hamper our ability to move on & still live life. We can't let it define who we are as people!
So, while remembering those we lost, I celebrate saying Happy Birthday to my middle stepdaughter on this same day. It is her birthday & she should be able to celebrate & have fun and not let the tragic events stop her from that. Yes, we remember but we also still LIVE.

I see 9-11 as a call for all of us to reach out to one another and rise to our highest selves.
