I received this challenge in my fitlosophy newsletter, makers of fitbook. Maybe you want to enter???
fitbooker challenge:
[4-exercise torture: do you dare try?]
think you can knock out this lil' circuit without breaking a sweat? think again. this no-equipment, do-anywhere circuit will leave your legs burning & heart pumping.
The rules: you must complete all reps of each exercise before moving onto the next - even if you have to rest.
The goal: complete the circuit as fast as you can! [challenge: my time 6:42]
Contest goes thru September 15th!
1. 100 jumping jacks
2. 75 deep-knee squats (if you have probs with your joints & deep knee squats then modify to parallel. I don't want you to injure yourself! - FROM JODY)
3. 50 push-ups
4. 25 squat thrusts
* post your time on the facebook fan page and the fitbooker with the fastest time gets a 'live life fit' t-shirt or tank top and a copy of "the power of four: your ultimate guide to change your body and transform your life" by paula owens!
The catch: To win, you must post a video proving your awesomeness.
this workout brought to you with love from the brilliant minds of trainer jeff norcross, inspired by crossfitter dai manuel from fitness town up in canada!
So, anybody going to give it a try??? So, I am sure you are asking where my video is, right! Well, I did try this challenge a few hours AFTER my Monday full weight workout which includes HARD CORE leg day, arms, back & more. I was already feeling the workout & at a bit of a disadvantage due to that. I did this challenge in 7:44. I am proud of that at 54 years old come November. I know, I like to point out that I am closer to 54! Maybe we should have age groups in this challenge! ![]()
If you think you can't do it, check out this amazing motivational post from Average Moms Wear Capes, Motivation in a Jar & I am in it twice. Can you find me??!!
Just try! It does not matter the time or even if you finish. Maybe use it as a way to see how fit you become over time. Try it every month to see how much better you get as you get healthier & fitter! ![]()

I was told that slow pushups are better for me and this is my excuse, I mean the reason, why I won't be doing the challenge.
You are amazing!

Ha HA! A chellenge
I will definitely do this up at the lake next week. I need some alternate workouts to do so I don't couch potato out when I visit my dad for a week - this will make for a day of sweat for sure. Altho I am betting it'll likely take me much longer than you

I suppose beer is motivation in a can, although what it motivates may not be such a good idea!
Challenges can be fun! Go get 'em!
