Fit Stanley's Diving & Muscle Building Adventures!

Tuesday August 23, 2011

Thank you again to Kris Beal from The Heart and Humor of Being Human for my visit from Fit Stanley! Again for those that missed it, this all started with MizFit and her Fit Stanley Project and Fit Stanley and Fit Stella but Kris liked it so much that she cloned him & sent him off to a few of us!!! See pics but this post & all the others will be posted also at the Fit Stanley site. Tornado (MizFit's daughter) made Fit Stanley & wrote the message. I LOVE the message, of course!

How did that cookie get there on a Fit Adventure? Not too worry, I had plans to work off that cookie almost as big as Fit Stanley!!

There was healthy food along the way too!

Fit Stanley got a little nervous when the oldest granddaughter wanted to teach him how to dive!!!
But as you can see, he did great & big smiles from Fit Stanley, oldest granddaughter & youngest grandson!

Fit Stanley was rewarded with some R&R and video game playing!

After all the fun, it was time for an after dinner walk & youngest grandson thought Fit Stanley needed a rest on the fire hydrant.

A little sleep is good for the bod & mind!

So, ya think that was enough for Fit Stanley's adventures? NOT! Ms. Fit at 53, close to 54, had to take him to the gym for some muscle building!

First off, I had to let him know that being healthy, fit & taking care of oneself is not selfish. He is worth it!!!

We had to do some incline arm & chest workouts, of course!

Kettlebells sure mix it up & challenge us - yahoo!

Got to build those legs so some 45 degree leg pressing was at hand!

Look how happy Fit Stanley is after the workout. He loved it! I felt so proud that I had to take a pic with him!

Fit Stanley did so well that I crowned him a Fitness Warrior!

Hope ya all enjoyed my adventures with him!

Now, if you want Fit Stanley to come visit you, please let me know in a comment why you want him to come visit. I will pick 1 person to send him off to. If I send him to you, per MizFit, you need to create a 100 word post with at least one pic and submit it to her for the Fit Stanley website AND of course you have to send Fit Stanley off to another person. If you don't want to do that then just comment away on how you loved his adventure with me!

Fabulous adventure!!! Fit Stanley looks like he is having the time of his life!!!

My life will not be complete without a visit from Fit Stanley! He can enjoy delicious gluten free meals, work out on the Arc trainer (Dr. Evil machine), go to yoga, take a hike and who knows what else.

I also think Fit Stanley really needs to experience Canada...

It looks like FitStanley is having a great summer, but summer is almost over and its time for him to get back to work. I have a 10-day, 3-city business trip coming up in September, and I think he needs to come along and help me check out the hotel gyms.

I would love to host Fit Stanley!

I'm running an Obstacle Race in September. I'm running and raising money to benefit the Senior Center where I teach fitness - so many people have joined the classes we don't have enough dumbbells and other equipment for everyone... these folks have found such a passion for fitness - They've lost weight, gotten off meds (by their doctor's advice...), changed their diets... it's a beautiful site to witness, and I would love love love to further help them be inspired by fitness...

Anyway, I think Fit Stanley would be the perfect running partner... he would be the perfect encouragement as I scale walls, wade through a pond, and slog through the mud...

Great blog Jody - so glad I found you through the Fit Stanley project!

I also need fit Stanley to visit Seattle, although he will probably learn a lot about staying fit in the rainy weather.

I love all the pics and great comments today Thanks Jody!
