Transform Yourself!

Tuesday August 9, 2011

Saw this over at April's place & had to share - LOVE IT!

Course some would argue that transformation can be a future event - yes, you can plan for how you want to look or your goal weight or whatever it is BUT I think the point here is NOT to postpone the transformation with EXCUSES!

You know what I am saying - I will start tomorrow & tomorrow never comes OR it does & one bad move makes you retreat back to not trying.

Or the proverbial, I will start Monday - just make NOW your Monday & start already! If not, you may have 10 more excuses not to start by Monday.

You're getting my point - Take baby steps. Change one thing each week if that is what helps you get there. Each day take a walk & add 5 minutes each day OR try to do the same distance in less time.

JUST do it for you!!!!!!!!!!! Today - the present is the best time.

Quotes to think about:

Don't let yesterday use up too much of today. ~Cherokee Indian Proverb

If you have one eye on yesterday, and one eye on tomorrow, you're going to be cockeyed today. ~Author Unknown

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present. ~Babatunde Olatunji, a similar version is also attributed to Alice Morse Earle

Children have neither past nor future; they enjoy the present, which very few of us do. ~Jean de la Bruyere

The future is always beginning now. ~Mark Strand, Reasons for Moving

I never think of the future. It comes soon enough. ~Albert Einstein

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Are you in the present?
