Scott Herman and Plyo Box Madness!!! Click on the link!

Some of you may have heard of Scott Herman. He has some really great workouts on his FB site & FitStudio. He is a stickler for form which I LOVE as you know! He is also very specific when he describes how to do the exercise - another great thing for people that are unsure or new to some moves.

Now this is an advanced routine BUT you can modify to meet your level OR pick out certain moves that you want to add to your own routine.

This is about 9 minutes but DO buzz thru it & see all the very cool moves you can add to your current routine & even modify for home use! The body LOVES CHANGE so mix it up & see some good ole RESULTS!!! Check out more of Scott's moves on his FB page. To see just his stuff there, click on his name at the top of his page cause he gets tons of comments in between his own posts. Hey, he ain't bad to look at either!

Do you change your routine up regularly. If not, I challenge you to do so & come back & tell me if you see better results!!!! Move out of the comfort zone!

When I watch people that can do these moves I cringe at the thought, all I feel is pain in my knees and tripping and hurting myself because my feet are numb and don't have balance like a normal person. I do think I could do the "runner man" and I might try. S.L.O.W.L.Y.

Sheri - I understand. You know, with my Hoka shoes, they work so good that when I do my legs, it is hard to feel where I am pushing up from.. the heel or the middle & well, the front I can feel due to my feet probs BUT when I want to push thru the heel, I have to concentrate big time to feel them! A good & bad thing when it comes to legs but better I can at least do them than not!

I've always had so many interests that I guess mixing it up was just part of doing it all. I've looked at working out as a pyramid with running as my base and with the endurance it provides i would build on that with more fun activities.

I hear ya Dr. J! You do it right! I kind of cringe when some bloggers tell people that cardio is not necessary. Yes, it can be overdone BUT it does help the heart/lungs/cardiovascular system AND many of these people are young. It just does not work that way as you age....

Is it just me or was that LOUD? I am pretty stuck in a rut with cardio, thanks to the heat here. But since I do my strength training with a trainer right now (thanks to my generous mom), that gets mixed up every workout

Hi Jody, so know what you mean about changing things up a bit. I had a substitute yoga instructor yesterday, and even changing instructors provides a different workout that I feel this morning. Made me realize that we get pretty complacent and need to shake it up to get benefits. Thanks for this informative post. Have a great day.

I do mix things up, and I'm getting geared up to start at the beginning again with workouts I used when I first hopped on the exercise trail. The reps and weights will be different, but I like the results.

Hey Jody. Thanks for sharing that video! I hadn't heard of Scott, but I LOVE all those moves in the vidoe. It made me wanna jump up out this office chair and bust out reps - even with my skirt on.
