Well, Karen already knows that I love awards but not so much on the passing them on so I will tell ya 10 things & leave it up to you if you want to share on your own blog. I have done something similar in the past so this may be a repeat of some of those things - I am not that exciting!
1. I have already posted & posted about how I am not a good baker or cook. Proof below of the burn I got just opening the oven to take out a pan of my homemade protein bars - DOH!!!

2. I once wanted to be a photographer - don't we all! I was OK with the 35mm cameras but these digital ones have way too many things going on for my little mind!
3. I never have wanted children - even when I was young .. now saying that, I love my stepkids & grandkids but sure glad I did not have to push them out!
4. I never thought aging would hit me both physically & mentally the way it has - I thought at my age right now, all would be fine & all my healthy living would make it so.. NOT! At about 47/48, the perimenopause hit which is later than lots of women. I really did not see any effect on my workouts or how I felt until the mid 50's to 51. Right now - craziness & all the other stuff that happens as well - UGH!Women, the hormones get you no matter what & they fight you every step of the way! I fight back but man, it is friggin frustrating!!!!!
5. I saw the below at Roz's blog. Man, would that be cool or what - a Nike contract! Sure, any of the other sports companies would be fine too! CALL ME OR EMAIL ME!

6. OK, I admit it - I LOVE that WIPEOUT show! Heck, I like a lot of fun shows but there my hubby & I sit and are laughing at people getting slammed by these obstacles. LOVE those big balls - watch the show online & you will understand!
7. I LOVE MY COOKIE TREATS! Yes, I know you all know that already!
8. I don't like it when I am judgemental - like thinking something about a person based on the first impression - so I need to be better at not doing that.
9. I really don't get why men see skinny women as looking awesome. I admit, I do watch TMZ cause the voice over guy is funny BUT when they all go gaga over some really super skinny woman & how she has the most amazing body - I just don't get it. This is not a jealous thing but more I just think a little muscle looks better than skinny in a bikini.
10. Self serving - I am looking for work so if anyone knows anybody in southern CA that needs some help, let me know. Honestly, if I could work from home but do stuff for a person from home, that would be ideal - yeah, I know, who doesn't want that!
Yup, I am not that exciting, am I, BUT I do OK in the gym!

I know I always say this but TWITTER is a great place to find work.
I shall tweet it...

Interesting insights into your life, Jody! And I'm not just saying that because I share most of them either.

What a great post Jody. I too never wanted kids and never have.
I sure hope your menopause gets better over time. That's terrible to have to live with periods all our lives and then that at the end!

Sheri - YES, why after years & years of that crap & then we get this after the periods finally end - stinks! I would use a harsher term but I don't on my blog!

I am not into Twitter much, but was actually going to say the same thing as Miz. And linked in.

Too much information, lol!!
Remember when "they" used to put butter on a burn?? What were they thinking?

Dr. J - I know, way too much info - I rarely tell things like this on my blog!

You are adoreable and much more. I was going to give you this award but Karen beat me to it. Let me say that many men, with me at the head of the pack, agree that muscle looks better than skinny.

Patrick, I love that you love muscles!!!

ME TOO!!!
And I agree with those who recommended Twitter and Linked In for job hunting! Good luck

Thx Karen! I love that there is another person out there like me with the kid thing!

Twitter is a great option for networking for a new job =)

Yes, you are adorable.
Like you, I never wanted kids and have never regretted that decision -- not once. I deeply loved all of my siblings' kids and the kids next door, and I'm lucky enough to still be involved in their lives and also the lives of their kids, but motherhood was not for me.
I wish I could help you with your job search -- I don't know anyone in So. Cal. Have you tried temp agencies? My friend, Liz, lives in Vegas, and for years got all kinds of interesting, non-traditional jobs through the temps.
