Gratitude Monday
I am starting a new feature here every Monday. I think it is a great way to start out the week. Get the mind & body moving in a positive direction! I thought to start this due to watching the last show of Oprah (which I will write about at a later date) and also from reading a book I am going to review next week, Stress Less, Weigh Less by Holly Mosier. Holly is co-owner with her husband of the LA Boxing studio I went to when I did kickboxing. Let me just say her thoughts on stress reduction/relief, body/mind connection & more are fantastic! Lots more to this book too!
Each Monday, stop by & comment on what you are grateful for & how it will impact you to live a healthier life going forward. How it impacts you does not have to be food or exercise related. It can be in any way, shape or form! If you just want to write a grateful comment & nothing else, that is fine too. If your comment is the same as another one, so be it. Everything goes here!
The object is to start the week of positive & keep moving that way every day of the week. If you have to, come back here & read others comments on days that you get frustrated or stressed or want to give up - I bet that will help you get back on track.
I will start mine off since it is Memorial Day - I am thankful for all the soldiers & people that put their life on the line each day to keep us safe. Keeping us safe will allow me to live a fruitful life!
Now your turn - leave your "What I am grateful for today" comment & let's share the positivity!

Great idea, Jody! I am thankful for many things but to name a few: my husband who adores and spoils me often, my kids who think I am wonderful (yes, plain 'ol me!) and for my family who puts up with my weirdness, and for God who has already blessed me with the free gift of salvation. yay!

I was lamenting the rediculous amount of work I had to do this weekend on my MSc, but then I realised how grateful I am to have this opportunity to learn andbe supporting in doing so by my wonderful husband. I am grateful to be healthy enough to push myself and get done what I need to do

I am VERY grateful that my husband and I found each other. We often tell each other how empty our lives would have been without each other.
