My Turkey Meatloaf & Other Eats
Since many of you seem to like to see "my eats", instead of a recipe today, I am showing more of my food!

So, above you see my turkey meatloaf. I make it with the 99% lean ground turkey. I did not burn it. I actually spread some of my spicy/sweet mustard on top when I bake it & then broil it for a couple minutes at the very end. It may not look pretty but it tastes YUMMY!
I change this up all the time. Of course I start with about 1 to 1.25 pounds of the extra lean ground turkey breast. Be careful when you buy ground turkey as there are "lean" packages that have quite a bit more fat. If that is OK with you, go for it but I prefer the extra lean.
So to this I add:
1. Some liquid egg whites to keep it moist.
2. Some type of salt free spice.. maybe Mrs. Dash Southwest flavor, sometimes chili powder, sometimes another salt free spice.
3. I usually add a mustard of some sort to the mixed meat as well as on top.
4. Sometimes I add salsa to it before baking.
5. Sometimes I add Worteshire sauce
Honestly, I change it up each time... just depends on what I feel like adding or what I have in the house. I bake it at 350 degrees for about 40-45 minutes. I like my meat a bit more done. I can even make this in my convection bake toaster oven.
My homemade protein bar with all natural crunchy PB on top. Yes, I already took a bite! :-)

A Jody PB thing if you want to try: I use both my Power PB & regular all natural crunchy PB - you know, the ones you have to mix up. While the regualr PB is still soft, after I mix it up & BEFORE I refrigerate, I add in some flax & mix it up too for an added extra "punch of health"! I started this because my Power PB has flax in it so I thought why not add it to my regular PB!
Another one of my breads that I like to toast & eat dry (or with Power PB if after a workout) .. you can see ingredients & nutrition stats below. I like to for decent stats but I am not looking for perfection!

My homemade protein cookie that I have shown in the past. Honestly, they come out different each time as I don't really measure spices & such & sometimes I add this or that...

More bread I eat.. this pumpernickel is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't eat too many store bought bars anymore but here is one, PureFit, I take on the road. The taste is decent & there is no coating to melt if it is warmer or it is left in the sun. You can check out their site for flavors & such. I like the almond crunch flavor too. It has 18g of protein, 25g of carbs, 6g of fat & only 1 g of saturated fat & 3g of fiber. Yes, there are sugar grams but like I said, I go for the best I can, not perfection! These are perfect for my road trips along with my homemade ones too!

I know, ya want more, but that is it for today. I will post more of my eats over time! I know inquiring minds want to know!
Have a great day!
