Back To It Friday!
So, traditionally, this is called Black Friday for all the shopping deals out there & the start of the Christmas season which actually seemed to start right around Halloween this year.. UGH!Well, I am calling it : BACK TO IT FRIDAY!!!!!!!! Or, you may end up like the poor lady in the pic!
A lot of you may have overindulged yesterday & sat instead of moved. You are feeling lazy and the pants are too tight & you may be hung over from too much booze and/or too much sugar!
This is what I have to say... GET UP & MOVE! Even if you are feeling UGH, just get up & take a walk, Just doing something is not only going to make you feel better physically, but MENTALLY TOO! There is nothing like getting right back to it.
DO NOT SAY: "WELL, I ALREADY RUINED YESTERDAY SO I MIGHT AS WELL JUST WAIT TILL MONDAY". Break that attitude!! Back to it! Get the mental mojo in gear!
DRINK LOTS OF WATER! This will help you flush out the extra sodium you might have consumed plus it will rehydrate you & make you feel better.
Nothing like getting right back into the game to keep your motivation strong & healthy thru the month & into the new year. Why not start the new year ahead of the game or at least stable from where you left off. There is no reason why we have to gain weight over the holidays if you plan ahead & do it right.
So, what did your "Back to it Friday" look like? If you shopped, did you bring some healthy food with you to sustain you rather than give in to the mall food? What strategies do you want to offer to others?

Yeah, I overdid it yesterday. But over and done. Nothing can't be undone, including Thanksgiving sins. Thanks for the reminder to work out. Will do. Have a great weekend!

I wish I had a holiday yesterday but work as usual. Your body does not know what day of week it is so YES! today everyone needs to get back to IT! Great reminder....

No shopping for me really. I got up and hit the gym, then I have to work per my usual Friday. It's all good, though!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Jody! I agree, exercise is the best solution to getting back at it the day after the feast. We are headed out for an afternoon walk and possible swim at the beach.
