Are the Stairs Scaring you? Let's Walk Them Together
It is not enough to stare up the stairs; we must step up the stairs - Vaclav Havel

Pic Credit Another quote I saw out & about & felt like it made a good subject matter for a post. This quote made me think about how many "stairs" we face in our lifetime. Ups & downs, bumps & pitfalls along the paths we chose to head throughout our life. We have many stairs & paths we can take. So often we just "stare" rather than move....
What if we just took one step.. just one step! Ah, it may have been scary but we took that one step. We can then say, hey, that was not so bad, maybe a second step is OK too. If we keep taking those one steps little by little & believing in ourselves, they lead to whatever is up the stairs.
Is it your dream job? Is it your dream trip? Is it your long lost passion? Is it.......
Start to a life of health & fitness & feeling better physically AND mentally. Is it a start to that lifestyle change that not only leads to feeling better & living better but can also lead to stairs to a whole new you!
Can you take one step up the stairs? Are you doing that? Where are your stairs leading to??? I am still climbing.

Carla, sometimes not knowing is a good thing & you just learn & experience & maybe you will end up exactly where you should be!

Great post. It seems I've been climbing stairs all my life. I just wish some were less steep.

Sometimes just looking up those "stairs" can seem overwhelming. That is exactly when the one-step-at-a-time approach is vital.

Oh, you know I love analogies! How about... starting up the stairs without even knowing where they go? That's what this made me think.

I was just writing that to MizFit about it may be a way to get somewhere that is right for yo but you did not expect that!

Stairs, hate them. Even though i can climb bunches of them now, still do not look at them with anticipation. But they are symbolic in many ways. One step, one choice at a time is how dreams are realized.

Great!! I just went to a local park where there is a stairway that is 220 steps from top to bottom, and another 220 steps bottom to top! I'll be writing about it soon.

For me, I love taking "steps" like baby steps. I've never been all or nothing type girl, so taking little steps works well for me!
