Happy Anniversary to Me

Today is my 27th wedding anniversary!!!! I KNOW! I bet some of you that read me were not even born yet!
I am not the easiest person to live with so I can hardly believe that my hubby has managed to stick it out this long!!! Holy cow!
The pic above is from our honeymoon in Lake Tahoe. Man, we were soooooooooooooo young!
Also, I thought I would take today as an opportunity to show you a couple of my weekend treats. I talk so much about my cookie treats but I don't often post a picture so......
I do love this time of year and the cookies you can find!!!!! This past weekend, I had 2 of these lovely cookies below - PUMPKIN SPICE!!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And on a different weekend, I found these babies which I love & can only get this time of year too - Molasses Spice - A big YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have one in the freezer cause it was a drive to the place I found these at!

Do you have a favorite food from this time of year? If anyone has healthier versions of a pumpkin spice & molasses cookie that are EASY to make & not too many ingredients, PLEASE SHARE!!!
PS: Been a bit busy this week. Family in town & had a couple get togethers Tuesday & Wednesday. Yesterday was a teeth day. Went to UCLA. If you have not read my yesterday post on teeth, give it a read. Lots of important stuff! Pretty tough appointment yesterday.... still recouping. Anyway, I did not get around to blogs as much as I wanted to this week... at least Tuesday & Wednesday were good days!

Happy Anniversary!!! I still remember being in your wedding and having to wear a dress... as a tomboy that was just awful. i love the pic of you and dad that you posted today. so cute! Sydney just saw it and said "I love Nana's hair in that pic" (and Syd has style!). have a great day. we had fun seeing you guys this week. thx for taking the kids on the merry go round. hope Linc wasn't too fussy

Happy Anniversary. I didn't realize that was an old photo at first, and thought, "Wow! They still look so young after 27 years!" I am such a dork!
The cookies look great -- haven't had cookies in our house in about a year -- can't control myself around them.

Happy anniversary! I had to smile because I also realize I am not the easiest person to live with. I love both molasses and pumpkin. Yum. I won't be getting them but our local bagel shop even has pumpkin bagels this time of year!

Happy happy anniversay! Enjoy the celebration no matter how you choose to get your celebration on.
This time of year, well you called it out already. Pumpkin this and that. In unhealthier days I'd dive into a vat of pumpkin spice custard, swim and smile and wish winter would never get here. This year, I'll have a slice of pumpkin pie come Thanksgiving and be fine with that. Unless, I can find me some of those cookies you are holding before my eyes.

Happy anniversary Jody! Beautiful picture of you two. Love it!
I was born in '78 so that would put me at the tender age of five when you got married. Guess I'm still a young pup...

Happy Anniversary.
We also celebrate w/o presents creating memories rather than more clutter in the house.
Have a wonderful and memorable weekend.
