Life is tough, we all know that. It is a roller coaster ride. It is a journey with many paths & we can choose or not choose to take certain paths that may or may not have rocks, bumps, hills and more.
I have written about "is the past destroying the now" and how it may effect how we act and what we do & do not try in our lives. I also followed up with It is all about the View and the quote: "I am not discouraged because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward".
I love the picture & quote above... I think: Wild abandonment, freedom, dreams, desires, passions.

In memory of my Dad that passed away 11 years ago today. He lived & laughed! Boy oh boy did he laugh & his laugh was contagious!!!!!! Still missing you Dad!

Thoughts to you on this, the anniversary of the loss of your father.
The picture and the quote make me feel as though I should think that way more often. I wish I could.

My thoughts are with you as you remember your Dad. He sounds like he was a terrific guy.
I loved the picture and verse. I dance and sing every day of my life (after being very sure that no one is watching and listening -- especially the singing since I am tone deaf and people have always told me "please don't" whenever I tried to sing). I like how you view the picture -- "I think: Wild abandonment, freedom, dreams, desires, passions." That fits perfectly into how I try to live my life.

Thinking of you today Jody, the anniversary of my father's death and the weeks before are always a difficult time. I'm glad to hear that you have such fond memories of your father to comfort you.

My thoughts are with you Jody on this difficult day for you.
That photo makes me think how lucky I am that I have the freedom to move my body in wonderful ways. It makes me want to take care of my body!

In this picture I see a former obese person waving that final goodbye to her old unhealthy self on the day she hit her ultimate goal.
