Jack Sh*t Pie Chart

So, my post for today was going to be short & simple about what it takes to lose weight, get fit & all that stuff! It still is going to be short (well, semi short) & sweet but I added the above chart to it. More on that below.

So what does it take to lose weight, get healthier, get fit, feel better, be able to do more, be able to play more with your kids.. I could go on & on!

Here it is: YOU CAN USE WHATEVER PROGRAM YOU FIND WORKS BEST FOR YOU IN TERMS OF FOOD, EXERCISE, PLAY ETC. But whatever it is, it is GOING TO TAKE HARD HARD WORK, DEDICATION, PATIENCE, CONSISTENCY & A COMMITMENT TO THAT ALONG WITH EATING RIGHT. FOOD IS AT LEAST 75% OF THE EQUATION!

Some people want to give up after 2 weeks or 1 month or 3 months because it is just too hard. They don't want to exercise, they don't want to change their eating habits & LIFESTYLE because it is just "too hard". Well, it is hard BUT IT IS WORTH IT! If it were easy, we all would be fit & healthy!

Honestly, from a lady that is hitting 53 soon, you have to continue to work at it long term & things will change & you may & most likely will have to work harder as you age due to hormone changes - both women & men! THIS IS THE WAY IT IS - Jody, the "BM" is talking to you today!

As Jule's (Big Girl Bombshell) son wrote to her: As one of my coaches told me “Excuses are like buttholes, everyone has em and they all STINK!”

I know I said short BUT I saw this great post from Dr. J about perseveration. You have to read his post to get the definition. READ THE WHOLE POST TO GET THE FULL BENEFIT! Yes, I know we all like to skim thru longer posts but read this through to get the full message!
