Guess Who & What Came to Visit!

Can't believe we are at August already!!!! YIKES!
So look who & what came to visit me!!! First, my oldest stepdaughter, Stephanie, came to town last weekend for a junior high school reunion! So, with her & then the 4 crazy kids/parents that moved here along with my youngest stepdaughter/hubby, we all got together to have fun. Here is a pic of me, Sawyer (after LOST fame), Stephanie and Casey. We are obviously missing two other crazy kids. There are 4 living here.
In addition, my friend, Terri, from Colorado fame, came to visit last week & got to see her. Remember all those cool pics I posted of my high school reunion trip? Here is one of them.... Terri is sitting in the rocking chair. It was great to see her!
Well, Terri, brought with her the famous Colorado cookie. Click on the link for those that missed the post on that goodie! AND, in case you don't want to click on the link, here are a few pics of the 2 cookies she brought with her. I put a tennis ball next to the cookies in one of the pictures so you can see how big they actually are in real life! Check out the ingredients too. Lots of good stuff in there too. It takes a few sittings to eat this cookie!!!!
Terri's daughter actually worked at Wisdom Tea House prior to graduating college where they make these cookies . Her daughter just graduated & got her first job as a Director of Music programs for a whole school district! Anyway, her daughter got these fresh for me & vacuum packed them!!!! THX to Terri & Sarah her daughter. For those that missed my post with Sarah & Sheila the cat, here it is. I am including the pic of Sarah with Sheila but also check out the post of another pic of Sheila!!!

Turkish apricots in the cookie huh, interesting. I love Apricots, have eaten many in my day. But not sure if any ever were Turkish. That cookie seems like a good choice for when hunting season comes and I need something to keep me fueled on the long days of tracking.
LOL, that cat is so LONG!
