Rewriting History; Some Personal Thoughts

So, first, I just want to chat a bit. Lately, things have been a bit "stressed" here so my mind has been somewhat preoccupied with other things. And yes, I am normal just like the rest of you! I do want to stress eat! I have been pretty good by just diverting myself and/or choosing healthier options like my almonds. If you eat them one at a time & chew them completely, they last longer!
Anyway, I digress. Still chatting about the stresses, I still will be posting like normal BUT some of my posts will be shorter .. I know, you all are saying to yourselves - "Thank god she is making those dang posts shorter!!!". I know, I tend to go on & on so this might be a good thing for you!
So, without further adieu, here is a question. I saw this over at Inperspire. And of course, those towels in the pics above are some of their very cool workout towels! I love that first one!
You have 10 minutes to rewrite history, how is it going to end?
Now, you can answer this any way you prefer. Thinking of my health & fitness readers & the many trying to lose weight, this made me think in terms of those struggling to maintain OR those that just so want to "give up". Think about all you could do for yourself and/or with & for your family, kids, loved ones if you were healthier & able to move around better. If you kept with it, how would things change for you?
Now, I am not saying life is all about being thin. I am just using that question to make you think about the journey you are on in terms of trying to be healthier and live a longer & fuller & active life.
In terms of other aspects of life, that question has me thinking .. and I think it is hurting my brain power!
OK, anybody want to share the answer to the question above???
Also, anything any of you out there prefer to see on my blog? How can I change it to make it better for you?
PS: ALSO, For those that missed my Sunday post, I want to let you know that Bobbie, over at Anonymous Fat Girl also asked me to guest post on the same subject as Jules, from my Thursday post. Now, saying that, there is some different information in the post to Bobbie. When you read it, you will read some of the same info as the Jules post BUT Bobbie also asked me to discuss some past failures.. which I call learning experiences along with a bit of other new info. So, take a read here but don't click off if it sounds the same because you will read new stuff too! I know... all this personal stuff!

Jody, I would not change a thing!!!! Okay, maybe the music, but the content is always great, and the attitude is supreme.
If I had 10 minutes to rewrite history, I would have given myself and even smaller role.

Ten minutes to rewrite history . . .
I need to think about that for an hour or two.

Me, Steve, I could think about this for weeks!

I would have had human intelligence control rather than be controlled by our more primitive nature.

Hmm, I get 10 minutes to rewrite history, how is it going to end? First wife and I never meet on that day in 1989. Instead second wife & I meet that day and she becomes first and only wife. Yeah, life is so much better with true love in it so that is what I'd change.
Your site, I think it is one of the best out there - dont change a thing. If you think it needs a make-over, say you are bored with the look or something, sure dress it up as you desire. But otherwise you rock when it comes to content.

I think about this sometimes, and there is very, very little I would change in my life, just because I like where I am at right now, and maybe that would be different if something else had happened earlier.
Keep on keepin' on through the stress. I have been going through that myself lately. You seem to have a better handle on the eating than I do LOL!

I would have fed myself and my kids differently years ago. Instilled great eating habits in us all. And I would have started exercising earlier in life. And I would have told my dad I loved him before he unexpectedly died.

Karen, I so hear you on your Dad as I have lost both my parents. I think we always wish we had said or done more. I am trying to tell myself that there is nothing I can do in regards to what happened.. that the past can't be changed & all I can do is move forward & learn from it. It is hard but I work at it each day.
HUGS!
