What Is Your Theme Song?

OK, I have another fun post for you. Remember not too long ago I had that post on what did you want to be when you grew up? Well, another great question came through! It is:
What Is Your Theme Song
Some of the very cool answers:
1. "mountains" by prince as there are mountains everyday in my life and with one step at a time i can get over them. and "the underdog" by spoon because i have been that underdog and i come out on top each day i move forward and it's just a great dancing song!
2. "Celebrate" by Kool and the Gang..It is my ringtone on my phone as well as the song that always puts a smile on my face..It instantly takes me back to my college years and always reminds me to "Celebrate" life. I can't wait to hear it at my daughters wedding in August and hit the dance floor with family and friends!
3. "Don't Worry Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin! I really strive to live this way!
4. "I Always Feel Like Somebody's Watching Me." I'm totally paranoid!
5. Sara Evans' Born to Fly--it makes me remember where I came from and think about where I am going. Plus it is great to sing along to (with the windows rolled up)!
6. "I am, I Said". by Neil Diamond. Y'know, sometimes one can feel invisible, like people aren't listening. It's an empowering song for me. One that I like to turn up and sing along!
7. Boston's "Don't Look Back". A new day really does dawn for me every day, with every possibility present in it if only I take the time to see. And I really don't mind where I get taken. It's all good and all part of learning.
8. "Rock the Casbah" by The Clash No matter what's going on or where I am in the world I just need to listen to this song to remember to not take life or myself too seriously. Or as the cell phone commercial went a few years ago..."The sheep don't like it" "Stop the cashbox"
9. 'The Story" by Brandy Carlisle..."You see the lines upon my face, they tell you the story of who I am. So many stories.." I think of family and friends who meant so much to me growing up but who are no longer with me--but their wonderful stories remain and I draw on them every day. Now that I'm a grandmother, I hope I'll have stories my family and friends will find helpful or comforting or funny, maybe inspirational. This song carries the hope that I too might accomplish that for my loved ones--and while I'm still on this side of terra firma, I'll glory in listening to their stories too! Love this song!
10. zoe mulford's "Life is too short to fold underwear"
11. "I Dream of You" by Michael Buble. I am dieting right now and every time I hear it I think of brownies, ice cream, cream cheese frosting, and all those glorious starches! I may not be able to delight in the delectable foods at the moment, but all day long I dream of it! From Jody: YIKES!
12. Love Rollercoaster by the Chili Peppers, Sure there's lots of ups and downs and surprize turns, but it's a great ride!
So what is your theme song and why??? Thought this would be fun to hear about & read about!!! Do you use music as a motivation for your workouts & just regular ole life too? I know I need my music for my workouts in the gym! Outside, I can just enjoy. You can read more answers at that link above.
As for a theme song for me, I am not a music buff. I hum along but never really remember the words to the songs, the title of the song or who even sings it a lot of the time. I also think my theme song changes with the times in my life. Right now, I like that David Cook song, Come Back to Me. I think he is singing to another person but I feel like I am singing it to myself! It does not totally apply but makes me think about trying to find me. Lyrics below:
Come Back to Me
You say you gotta go and find yourself
You say that you're becoming someone else
Don't recognize the face in the mirror looking back at you
You say you're leaving as you look away
I know there's really nothing left to say
Just know I'm here whenever you need me I'll wait for you
So I'll let you go, I'll set you free
And when you've seen what you need to see
When you find you, come back to me
Take your time, I won't go anywhere
Picture you with the wind in your hair
I'll keep your things right where you left them
I'll be here for you
Oh and I'll let you go, I'll set your free
And when you've seen what you need to see
When you find you, come back to me
And I hope you find everything that you need
I'll be right here waiting to see
You find you, come back to me
I can't get close if you're not there
I can't get inside if there's no soul there
I can't face you, I can't save you
It's something you'll have to do
So I'll let you go, I'll set you free
And when you've seen what you need to see
When you find you, come back to me
Come back to me
So I'll let you go, I'll set you free
And when you've seen what you need to see
When you find you, come back to me
And I hope you find everything that you need
I'll be right here waiting to see
You find you, come back to me
You find you, come back to me
When you find you, come back to me
When you find you, come back to me

Divine Intervention by Matthew Sweet. That one song is the soundtrack of my entire 49 year life.
I rarely, almost never, listen to music while working out anymore. I find it more a distraction than a benefit.

Roy, I love having the music there but honestly, sometimes I am so focused that I don't even hear it & the all of a sudden it pops into my ear again!

I often have a song going in my mind when I'm running. Usually it's some tune that I recently heard. No it is not the Oscar Meyer wiener song
For some reason mu favorite escapes me, I'm sure it will start playing eventually!
