Just a reminder to not forget the FitDeck Cards Giveaway. It is open through end of day Saturday!

So, are you getting tired of my "PS reminders" at the end of my posts about the Pledge for Better Health??? I bet you are & just don't want to tell me!

Well, here I am again, chatting about it. I wanted to remind you all about it and you can see my very first post about it here.

I just want to remind you that for every pledge link, Tweet, FB mention, blog mention, you get another entry for the $20 Dick's Sporting Good's gift card. You can enter multiple times on "all fronts above" each & every day until May 8th, end of day. Each comment/entry should be made to my ORIGINAL POST HERE.

Hey, you may want to bring the kids in to teach them about being & feeling healthy. Have them make their own pledge & enter it for them & they can see it pop up on the screen!

I am in the running for a giveaway too. If you recall, I did not even know that at first. I was just having fun with the pledge thing until I realized I am entered for a prize too!!! Maybe even an iPad, iTouch or an iPod or something like that which I sooooooo need as I only have a shuffle. Hey, don't get me wrong, love having it BUT with my crazy workouts, I sure could use a bit more in that department!!!! Does not hurt to try, right!!!!

ANYWAY - as I am getting more crazy teeth work done this week for those that recall my UCLA Dental School posts (I will update you later), I thought I would revisit this & see if I can get you guys to pledge, Tweet, and FB some more.... OMG, I know, after my Monday post.. YIKES!!! It is for a good cause though! Here is the original post below.....

GE wants to encourage women to take an active role in their own health and the health of their loved ones through a Pledge for Better Health. If you haven’t read/heard about it yet, definitely take a look! Heck, I want to encourage women, men & children to all take an active roll in their own health so no matter who you are out there, check out the site & take the pledge!!! Lots of great info on the site too!

Here the details about the GE Healthymagination initiative & MY GIVEAWAY

Also, there is a $20 gift card GIVEAWAY for one of my readers that takes the pledge. The gift card will be for Dick's Sporting Goods.

The rules of the blogger specific contest are as follows & I am sharing them with you to be open & honest:

Encourage my readers, YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE, to Pledge for Better Health and the blogger (me) who has the most individuals pledge by May 9^th will win a grand prize.

Ask my readers, YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE, to post their pledge link here on my blog.

When the promotion ends, the GE representative will come around to each blog (mine) and manually add up the totals of the pledge links to determine "a winner" with the most pledges. To be honest, I was not even thinking about that grand prize. In fact, I did not understand the email at first & had no idea I was eligible for a prize. I was just wanting to get people out - women, men & children - to get healthy & improve the quality of their lives. I had to write the representative after the fact to ask about the grand prize winner because I had not even really thought about whether that meant I was in a contest to win too. I know, I am "a bit slow".

5. Contest remains open through May 8, 2010. I will announce the winner on May 10, 2010.

Again, I just want to encourage women, men & children to take an active roll in their own health. No matter who you are out there, check out the site & take the pledge!!! After you take that pledge, promise yourself, if you don't already, to get up & move more and to also add healthier food options into your life!
