Sunday Walking w/Friends - Reunion Pics!

I think most of you know by now that I like to do my run on Sunday outside. I do it early enough to get the benefits of less people & cars. It is quiet, peaceful & no smog yet if it's the warmer weather when it gets smoggy. In the fall/winter, I often get an awesome look at our mountains too! Nothing like when I had my high school reunion fun with my friends though. We were in Colorado where two of the friends live now & have for 20 some odd years. Myself & one other lady live here in southern California & the other lady that planned & instigated the whole meet lives in Australia & was coming here to visit family in Colorado, Idaho & Seattle so the meet point was Colorado. She actually paid to bring the two of us from California there!!!
Anyway, I digress..... check out the walking beauty we had while there! The pic above is 3 of us & those mountains in the background. We were staying at the home of the lady in the middle.
Here is another pic of the mountains:

An yet another pic of some walking. We were walking us AND Blackie the dog who was the sweetest dog ever!

And more walking.. check out the beauty. The lady lives more in this wooded area & it is a 7500 foot elevation so they do get their snow. In fact, we saw some still left over from the snow they had a couple weeks back!

We had so much fun!!!! I will be posting various posts thru the next few weeks with more pics. We had 500+ pics between the 5 of us & a CD was burned with all 500++ pics so.... lots of duplicates but also lots of fun to show you in the future posts!!! If you missed my older posts, here are a couple more pics of us: Goofing and just a pic in the home of our hostess, the lady in the rocking chair. THX Terri and THX to Cory for pulling us all together! Cory is on the couch, in the middle with the green shirt.
You can pledge multiple times & as long as you put the pledge link on my Tuesday post (link above), it will count for another entry in the Giveaway for the gift card.
Also, feel free to share this on your Facebook page for another entry, Tweet it out for a separate entry and mention it on your blog for a separate entry. Just let me know in the comments of my Tuesday post about the pledge, Tweet & Facebook sharing.
Yes, I am in the running for a prize too. I said that in my original post but telling you again. So I really love this because we can pledge for health & maybe I will win an iPod or something like that which I can't afford right now & you guys are in the running for that gift card!!!

Wonderful pictures and story, Jody!
As Richard Bach said:
"Don't be dismayed at good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends."

Karen, I passed on your comment to her & she loved that. She said Nice & Easy does the trick. I even asked her.. looks the same color as when we were young!

I recognize Long's Peak in the background -- grew up near there , and miss it terribly. Seeing this was a nice treat for me. This time of year, there may be no better place on Earth. Looks like you truly did have a wonderful time!!!

Hey Roy, my friend wrote this: Actually, it's Pikes Peak in the background. Long's Peak is up NW of Denver. Both are 14ers and beautiful. I guess they are both awesome!!!!
