10 Things That Make Me Happy

1. Display the image. How hard can that be as it is so darned cute! 2. List 10 things that make me happy. 3. Try to do at least one of them today. 4. Pass on the award to 10 bloggers who brighten my day.
OK, I am going to get this out of the way right now & I mentioned it on my Wednesday post when Melanie gave me that Beautiful Blogger award. YOU ALL BRIGHTEN MY DAY!!!! I learn something unique & special from each & every one of you so I just can't single anyone out. Sorry about breaking this rule!
SO, here are 10 things that make me happy:
1. My wonderful hubby & family & friends. I could not survive without their love & support!
2. Lifting weights. You know I would not leave that off my list!!!
3. My weekend treat cookie & coffee & just sitting, reading & people watching. I do not feel guilty about this! I know this was part of my Wednesday list BUT is feels so good & makes me happy!
4. Watching comedies. Yes, it is TV but again, I don't give up my workouts to watch TV AND laughing is good for the soul & body. Have any of you seen the new comedy Modern Family? Too friggin funny!!!!! Scrubs & Community are funny too!
5. Oh come on, bread! I know I post about it alot & so glad I have found healthy breads that I keep in my food program. It gets harder th older I get BUT I am not going to give them up! I had to cut way back on the bagels though & replace with these breads that I still love. BUT, I do have my bagel once a week or so!
6. Hawaii! So beautiful & peaceful. We love the Big Island of Hawaii & Kauai the most. We got there more when times were better. Hope to be there again. After my mom's death, my hubby took me there for my 50th birthday. We really could not afford it but it helped get some peace.
7. My Dad's laugh. He has been gone since 1999 but he had the most contagious laugh. Thinking about that, although sad, also makes me happy along with all the great memories of family get togethers.
8. Reading all the wonderful stories of success & learning on your blogs. AMAZING stuff out there!
9. I love that I have muscles & am pretty strong, especially at 52!
10. Being healthy & alive. The alternative ain't great!
Hope you are having a great weekend! Feel free to leave a comment telling us what makes you happy!

I have a Costco bread that is really good, a couple ones from Sprouts, a local health food store here that is part of the Henry's Chain, Ezekiel breads.. many flavors, Julian breads but they are expensive & I wait for sales (one has 13g of fiber & 14g of protein & I love it!), Trader Joes has a couple I like, See, I can go on & On!
