In Honor of Dad's Day!
Today is Father's Day so I must wish all the men who are dad's out there a very happy dad's day!!! ENJOY and do something good for yourself... even if that means a TREAT for you and a cookie for me!!! In honor of Dad's day, I have put a picture of my dad above at his 65th bday. He was 73 when he died but was not as heavy as in this picture. He had lost weight a few years after this pic. Yes, he was as wacky & crazy & fun as he looks in the picture!!! He was one of those dads that you were "embarrassed" of when you were little because he was doing the craziest things in public but the older you got, the more you loved it & it was just all fun & games & laughter around him. He was always the life of the party & everyone loved & misses him so much! He has been gone since 1999 but it feels like yesterday to me!
AND, of course, I must honor my very special & wonderful hubby!!! He is a father to 3 great daughters & has been there for them from day one. None of that absent divorced dad for him! He had the girls 3 days a week plus every other weekend as they were growing up & he was there for every event they did, every dance and more. Hard to find them that good out there! And of course he spoils me rotten!!! We may not have a lot of money but it is the other things he does that counts! So, here is a pic of us with some of the crazy grandkids the last time we visited them in Idaho. The only one missing is the youngest who was not born at the time of this picture.
Have a great day & happy one!

Happy Father's Day to Steve! And, yes, Dad is really, really missed. He was one of a kind.

Jody, I have seen you write several time that the camera didn't love you, and all I have to say is ...whatever!! You are a beautiful lady with a beautiful family. Why do I keep thinking "more fun that a barrel of monkeys" when I look at those delightful grand-kids??

I was a wonderful Father's Day as we splurged on breakfast sausage, homefries, eggs, and buttery toast....and then the fridge broke.
Patty is sooo right. You are beautiful and so is your family!
